Freelance TV Writer

CinemaBlend seeks an enthusiastic TV fanatic for a freelance writing position who is plugged into the industry. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated wordsmiths with up-to-date knowledge of the entertainment industry and an appetite for television. This is a freelance position with room to grow.

We're looking for someone who's up for writing on a variety of television-related topics, has a good sense of humor, pays attention to details, and writes with a fun, conversational tone. We’re also looking for someone who is able to write specifically on Thursdays and Fridays and some additional days each week.

Other things to know about the position...

+This is a freelance telecommute position for a writer who's open to writing about a variety of topics within entertainment.

+Freelancers begin at the starting rate, which is a per-article rate.

+This is a news-writing position, with potential to expand into editorial later on.

+Journalism degree not required.

+Some writing experience is required. We will want to see published articles from an online outlet, preferably related to TV or movies.

+We expect a quick turnaround on all article assignments, so we're looking for someone who's good with details, knows the industry and can submit clean copy.

+Actual hours of availability are flexible, however, a Thursday/Friday commitment is required.
