Job Overview:

You will write coherent, organized, and compelling proposals, and apply your knowledge of fundraising tactics to reach income goals. You will collaborate with team members in the organization to assist with other fundraising projects and develop relationships with key stakeholders.

Can work in US time zone | 40hours/week

Roles and Responsibilities:

Research on grant protocols, requirements & qualified grant providers.

Send requests, emails and letters.

Prepare proposals by determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and obtaining approvals.

Determine proposal concepts by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposal (RFPs), and attending strategy meetings.

Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal.

Coordinate requirements with contributors and contribute proposal status information to review meetings.

1 year of experience in grant writing, prospect research, general fundraising or a minimum of 2 years comparable and transferable skills acquired in a professional setting.

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Media, or related field.

Stable internet connection, preferably at least 5Mbps


Extremely organized with strong time-management skills

Laptop or desktop computer that can run web browsing, spreadsheet, and communication software

Intel i3 or AMD Ryzen 1300 processor (or equivalent)
